I started writing this book because I wanted to prove to myself that I could finish it. Somewhere along the way, the story became so much more than that. It became a haunted house I wanted to explore, characters I couldn't stop thinking about, and a world I never wanted to leave. Sharing it with readers is both terrifying and exciting, but I wouldn't have it any other way.
